NEWBORN PHOTO SESSION

Service Description

***When booking your newborn session please book your due date, if baby has already arrived then please let me know how old baby is by writing it in the notes. *** Pay for your session fee now at the time of booking and then pay for your images or packages separately after you're viewing(3-4 weeks from your shoot). Images are not included in the session fee. All session fees must be paid at the time of booking to secure your date and are non refundable. Newborn Photography sessions are best done within the first 2 weeks of life, this is when they are sleepiest and will let me move them in to gorgeous squishy poses. I take bookings after the 12 week scan however bookings later in pregnancy are still accepted dependant on availability. If baby has already been born I will do my utmost to fit you in, but it cannot be guaranteed. Of course babies will arrive when they want so I book you in for your due date and then early or late we can move the date to suit. Sessions are held in my studio in Broughty Ferry and normally take between 2-4 hours, newborns will need lots of feeding breaks throughout the session, in fact I would say that 50% of the session will involve feeding, nappy changes and cuddling to get the baby comfortable. If its doesn't work, we take a break and work with what the baby is giving us. Sometimes the best photos happen when the baby isn't doing what we want.
