Children grow up far too quickly, and while the years can feel long, the little moments seem to disappear in the blink of an eye.

As a children’s photographer with over 8 years of experience, I love creating beautiful, natural photographs that capture your children’s personalities just as they are — their smiles, their laughter, their cheeky expressions and all those little things that make them uniquely them.

I don't want your children to spend their photography session sitting still and saying “cheese”.

I want them to have fun.

Let them be free

I love photographing children outdoors, where they have space to run, explore and simply be themselves.

Sessions take place in beautiful outdoor locations where children can move around, play and have fun rather than feeling like they're having their photograph taken.

We might walk through the woods, explore a beach, run through a field or simply find somewhere lovely to play.

There might be running, climbing, jumping, tickling, exploring — and probably a fair amount of laughter!

And that's exactly what I want.

The best photographs often happen when children forget the camera is even there.

A photographer who understands children

I'm not just a children's photographer — I'm also mum to 10-year-old twins, so I know that every child is completely different.

Some children will happily run straight up to the camera, while others might need a little more time to warm up. Some will give you a beautiful smile on demand, while others would rather pull a funny face!

There is no right or wrong way for a child to be during their session.

I take the time to get to know them, chat with them, make them laugh and let them feel comfortable. There is never any pressure for them to perform for the camera.

Instead, I follow their lead and capture the moments that naturally happen along the way.

More than just a photograph

My favourite photographs aren't necessarily the perfectly posed ones.

They're the photographs that take you right back to that moment.

The way your little one laughed.

Their favourite silly expression.

The way they held your hand.

Those muddy little knees.

The curls blowing in the wind.

The moments that you might not realise you'll miss until they're gone.

These are the memories I want to capture for you.
